I am a graduate from July this year and I just wanted to say that I am now a
bartender at the hottest Karaoke bar in Waikiki Hawaii called Wang Chung's! 
I owe my skills to the school. Prior to attending the training, I had very little knowledge in bartending. I chose SFSOB over all the other schools in town for its high ratings by reviewers and for its excellent reputations. When I asked some of my classmates back then why they chose to attend the school, they all agreed that it was the best in town for its training and job resources.
Shortly after I graduated, I found a part time job bartending for an event. I was so excited because it was my very first bartending job and I totally loved it ... not to mention the huge tips I received. 
At first, some of my friends in the industry were trying to discourage me from wasting my time and money in receiving training because they insisted that I could learn it all on the job. Well, My goal is to become a professional bartender and I knew that bar backing until I learned the ropes would take a long time. Plus picking up bad habits from other bartenders was not in my agenda. I wanted to learn this trade properly from actual professional bartenders/instructors. 
Now as a bartender, I am so proud that I attended training because when I am out to bars and clubs, I see so many bartenders with poor skills in pouring and serving. I did not want to be that one barback who stood out with third class skills. 
Graduating from SFSOB provided me with an excellent reference experience. It is the most prestigious school of bartending in San Francisco and I'm very proud to have completed the program. 
Now I get to enjoy working with people, networking, hosting and singing...while bartending! How awesome is that? Plus, our bar (Wang Chung' Karaoke Bar) has the highest ratings on Yelp and Google for its quality, customer satisfaction and enjoyment in Hawaii. I'm very proud of this because although our location is tucked away in an alley, people find us online or through word of mouth no matter what and it's packed every night! Hope to someday see you all again. Come down for a vacation and stop by and ask for me... I'll make you guys my famous 'to die 4- Keylime Pie' cocktail.
